Test Method
Saybolt Color test is used for quality control and product
identification of refined product of 0.5 or lower ASTM color.
Product range includes uncolored motor gasoline, aviation
gasoline, jet fuel, naphtha, kerosene, white oil and petroleum waxes. For many products, color is quite an important quality characteristics index. At the same time it can be used to detect the contaminants in product. This Saybolt Chromometer tests the color through comparing the color of sample liquid column and standard color plate.
